Not Too Famous Fables -3 by Kushal Poddar

I am not a silent poet

As if I lost my eyes,
regained them again,
I stroll past the abbey.

Monks pray in sotto voce.

A neon sign knifes
the silence.
I stroll past the field
where my father
still seeks his only son
who won’t return home
after a game.

not too famous
